At Bespoke Timber, we strive to provide quality products while having a positive impact on our environment.
We are committed to only using high quality, sustainably sourced timber and timber finishes.
Recycled hardwoods are the central focus of our business, there is no substitute for the character & environmental benefits of recycled timber. We also salvage timber from fallen & dangerous trees as well as purchasing sustainably sourced timber from our FSC & PEFC accredited suppliers
Well managed, timber is an ethical resource that is renewable & one of the most environmentally friendly materials available. Around half the weight of our products is stored carbon!
We finish our timber with a quality German made natural Hardwax oil from Whittle Waxes which is environmentally friendly, food safe & exceptionally beautiful & durable.
Our workshop is solar powered and our back to grid system makes more energy than we use.
We produce small amounts of waste mainly consisting of sawdust & timber off cuts. Any off cuts are used for heating and our sawdust goes to a nearby farm where it is mixed with animal manure and used to add carbon to the soil.
